About Art Dubai

In 2019, 28,500 guests attended Art Dubai activities, such as regional and international collectors, custodians, patrons and other museums and organisations. Art galleries

The list of art galleries that will participate in the 2021 event is not yet revealed by Art Dubai. Contemporary Art Dubai New, Citizens and Bawwaba are the popular art areas seen previously in Art Dubai.

Art Dubai Contemporary Zone

This is focused on commercial galleries that have been working for a period of two years. In the Art Dubai Contemporary district, approximately 60 art galleries are chosen each year to display their most influential creations. This covers both new and existing galleries of art.

Drawings, videos, photography, drawings, cover paintings, sculptures and other events are part of the artworks displayed. In Art Dubai 2019, more than 90 art galleries from over 40 countries actively participated. These include Colombian and Cameroon newcomers, as well. Art Dubai Modern Zone

The Residents Zone

In March 2018, the Residents’ first version was held. It welcomes global artists to perform in studios in the UAE that are completely fitted. The theme of Art Dubai 2019 was solely in Latin America. Twelve of Latin America’s leading art galleries came to the UAE for a six to eight-week residence for this reason. The goal was to use these innovative minds to create work influenced by the region’s rich culture.

Bawwaba Zone

Bawwaba presents ten single artist demonstrations. Over the last 12 months, the art displayed in this field was either developed or deliberately conceived for the fair. Projects from Latin America, Central and South Asia, the Middle East and Africa were traditionally part of the case.

Partners of Art Dubai

Art Dubai 2021 collaborators include the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, BMW and Julius Baer, and the Dubai International Financial Centre is hosting the event (DIFC).

Major attractions of Art Dubai 2021

The 2021 edition of the Dubai Art Fair will showcase new artwork by several global artists. It is planned that many art galleries from numerous countries will show their work.
